Meet Irina & Her Team
Irina is the Lead Arborist and owner of Green Canopy Tree Services. She is an ISA Certified Arborist (ON-2740A) and TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualified).
Irina became an arborist in 2016 when she decided to change careers in favour of learning a new trade and following the call for the outdoors. She has a background in software engineering and worked in this field for over 15 years as a software developer, people and project manager.
She graduated from Humber Arboriculture program with Honours and never stopped learning since, always seeking new opportunities for improvement and keeping up to date with industry’s latest standards and advancements.
Irina is not only an experienced arborist but a true tree enthusiast. With multilingual fluency in English, French, and Romanian, she connects with clients from diverse backgrounds and tailors her work to each property’s unique needs.
Her passion shines through in her commitment to delivering outstanding tree care services, all while following the highest standards of arboriculture. Irina’s goal is to keep trees healthy, safe, and beautiful for generations to come.
